Girdle Buster - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    25 to 30 Oreos
    1/3 c. margarine
    1 small can Hershey's syrup
    8 oz. Cool Whip
    1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream
    butter pecans or other nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Crumble cookies.
    Layer in a 9 x 13-inch dish.
    Pour margarine over mixture.
    Spoon softened ice cream over layer.
    Pour syrup and nuts over layer of ice cream.
    Cover and freeze overnight. Next morning, spread Cool Whip over top and refrigerate until ready to use.
