Banana Layer Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs, separated
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 c. plus 1 Tbsp. buttermilk
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    3 large ripe bananas
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream the butter and sugar, beating well.
    Add egg yolks, one at a time.
    Dissolve soda in buttermilk.
    Add, alternating with flour.
    Beat egg whites; fold in.
    Bake in greased and floured pans at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
