Applesauce Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 c. plain flour
    2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. mace
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 c. seedless raisins
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 lb. mixed candied fruit
    2 c. hot applesauce
Preparation
    Sift first 7 ingredients together.
    Cream butter and sugar in a large mixing bowl.
    Add eggs and beat well.
    Mix raisins, fruit and nuts with flour mixture.
    Add to creamed mixture, alternately with hot applesauce.
    Pour into large tube pan.
    Bake at 275\u00b0 for 2 hours.
