Cheese Hash Brown Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. hash browns, frozen
    1/2 c. margarine or butter, melted
    2 Tbsp. onion, dried and minced or 1 c. fresh
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 pt. sour cream
    2 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
    1/2 tsp. salt (may be omitted)
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 c. corn flakes, crushed
    1/4 c. margarine or butter, melted
Preparation
    Mix potatoes, margarine, onion, soup, sour cream, cheese, salt and pepper.
    Place in 9 x 13-inch pan (may butter if you wish). Mix corn flakes and margarine (add garlic to taste, if desired) and spread over top of potatoes.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
