Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) pie shell, baked
    1 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/8 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. white Karo
    1 c. water
    3 Tbsp. strawberry Jell-O
    1 pt. sliced berries
Preparation
    Combine sugar, cornstarch, salt, syrup and water in saucepan. Stir and cook until mixture thickens (about 5 minutes).
    Add gelatin and blend well.
    Cool.
    Put berries into cooled baked crust.
    Spoon gelatin mixture and over berries.
    Chill thoroughly.
