Microwave Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
dash of salt
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1 1/2 c. raw peanuts
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Grease baking sheet.
Combine sugar, corn syrup and salt in a 3-quart Pyrex dish.
Stir in peanuts.
Microwave on High until light brown (8 to 10 minutes), stirring once or twice.
Remove from microwave.
Stir in remaining ingredients until light and foamy. Quickly spread on greased baking sheet.
Quickly spread out as thin as possible for a brittle candy.
Break into pieces.
Makes about 1 pound.
