White Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. sweet milk
3 egg whites
1 tsp. each vanilla and lemon
Preparation

Cream together sugar and shortening.
Sift salt, baking powder and flour four times.
Add flour and milk alternately.
Beat well and add flavoring.
Fold in well beaten egg whites.
Put in greased and floured pan.
Bake in moderate oven.
