Broccoli Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    6 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 (8 oz.) jar Cheez Whiz
    1/2 c. water
    2 pkg. frozen broccoli, thawed and drained
    3 eggs, well beaten
    1/2 c. soda cracker crumbs
    1 can onion rings (optional)
Preparation
    Fry onion in butter.
    Stir in flour; add water and cook over low heat, stirring, until mixture thickens and comes to a boil. Blend in cheese and add broccoli.
    Mix in eggs until gently blended.
    Use 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
    Cover with crackers and dot with butter before baking.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Makes 8 servings.
