Alabama Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 c. sugar
3 c. flour
3 sticks butter
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
6 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon

Preparation

Cream butter and sugar together.
Add eggs one at a time.
Mix flour, salt and baking powder together.
Add flour mixture to sugar mixture, a cup at a time.
Alternate with milk.
Add flavoring. Pour in prepared tube pan and bake at 325\u00b0 for one hour in floured and greased pan.
