Fried Cheese - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese
    1/4 c. flour
    1 egg, beaten
    1/4 c. soft bread crumbs
    1/2 c. oil
Preparation
    Cut cheese into 2 1/2 x 1/2-inch strips.
    Dip each in flour, then beaten egg, then bread crumbs.
    Fry in hot oil for 1 minute, turn and fry 1 more minute or until golden brown.
    Drain on paper towels.
    Serve with pizza sauce, if desired.
