Fairy Food(Angel Food Candy) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. dark corn syrup
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. baking soda (no lumps)
    2 lb. bulk dipping chocolate
Preparation
    Butter 9 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    First measure out baking soda. Combine sugar, syrup and vinegar in heavy saucepan.
    Continue to cook without stirring to 300\u00b0 on candy thermometer.
    Remove from heat and quickly stir in baking soda, mixing well.
    Pour in buttered pan.
    It will spread itself.
    Cool.
    Break into pieces. Dip in melted chocolate and put on waxed paper to harden.
    Makes about 3 pounds.
