Blueberry Surprise - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. margarine, softened
1/4 c. brown sugar, packed
1 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1/2 gal. ice cream, softened
1 (21 oz.) can blueberry pie filling
Preparation

Heat oven to 400\u00b0. Mix butter, sugar, flour and pecans. Press evenly in bottom of ungreased 9 x 9 x 2 pan. Bake until light brown, about 12 minutes. Crumble with spoon and cool. Set aside 1 cup crumbs and press rest of crumbs in bottom of pan. Pack ice cream on top of crumbs. Sprinkle the reserved crumbs on top of ice cream. Wrap and freeze. Heat filling until hot. Cut ice cream in 3-inch squares. Spoon warm pie filling onto ice cream bars. Serve immediately.
