Cabbage Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small cabbage, diced
    2 lb. ground beef
    2 onions
    1 green pepper
    salt and pepper
    28 oz. V-8 juice
    1 large can crushed tomatoes
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Brown ground beef, onions and green pepper.
    Add V-8 juice, tomatoes and water.
    Simmer for 45 minutes.
    Add cabbage and continue cooking 1/2 hour.
    Serve with crusted bread.
