Spinach Filled Pitas - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 can water chestnuts
1 (10 oz.) box frozen chopped spinach, thawed
2 to 3 Tbsp. dry onion soup mix
1/4 c. finely chopped onion
1 pkg. pita bread
Preparation

Thaw and squeeze out the spinach.
Combine chopped onion, onion soup mix, cream cheese and spinach.
Chop water chestnuts and add to spinach and cream cheese mixture.
Cut pitas in half; fill with the mixture.
Smooth out and cut halves into serving pieces.
