Banana Molasses Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 ripe bananas
    1 egg (unbeaten)
    2/3 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. light molasses
    2 Tbsp. melted shortening
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Stir, don't beat.
    Mash bananas (no lumps).
    Add unbeaten egg; mix.
    Beat in sugar, molasses and shortening.
    Mix and sift flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
    Stir in nuts.
    Bake in greased 8 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan in a 325\u00b0 oven for about 1 hour.
