Chili Con Carne - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1 c. onion, chopped
1 c. green pepper, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
16 oz. can crushed tomatoes
16 oz. can dark red kidney beans, drained
8 oz. can tomato sauce
2 tsp. chili powder
2 tsp. cumin
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. basil
1/2 tsp. cocoa
Preparation

In a large kettle, cook beef, onion, green pepper and garlic until meat is brown.
Stir in remaining ingredients in this order: tomatoes, kidney beans, tomato sauce, chili powder, cumin, paprika, basil and cocoa.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Cover and simmer about 45 minutes.
