John'S Easy Pie Crust - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. lard or shortening
    1/2 c. boiling water
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. sugar
    3 c. all-purpose flour, sifted
    1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Cut lard or shortening into small chunks.
    Pour boiling water over this and stir into a creamy mass.
    Add salt and sugar. Stir sifted flour and baking powder into mixture.
    Use a cutting motion until it is well blended.
    Gently shape into large ball; wrap in wax paper and set in refrigerator for 1 hour.
