American Chop Suey - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground meat
    2 c. chopped celery
    1 large (2 lb. 8 oz.) can kidney beans
    2 qt. tomatoes
    1 lb. medium noodles
    1 c. chopped onions
    salt to season
    Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Brown the meat until crumbly in a large pot.
    Add celery, onions, tomatoes and beans and simmer until celery is soft.
    In the meantime, boil noodles in 3 quarts salted water for 15 minutes; drain.
    Combine all in a large casserole.
    Brown bread squares or Kellogg's croutons and sprinkle over casserole. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 about 20 minutes, until bread is browned.
