Beef And Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. boneless stew meat
    1/2 c. flour
    3 Tbsp. cooking oil
    1 can beef consomme
    3/4 c. water
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 clove garlic
    1 onion
    1 (4 oz.) can mushroom pieces
    1 c. raw rice
Preparation
    Salt and pepper meat.
    Roll in flour and brown in hot oil. In a buttered baking dish, spread the rice.
    Chop garlic and mince onion, spreading both over rice.
    Arrange browned beef over this and pour consomme and water over all.
    Salt and pepper as desired. Spread can of mushrooms, with liquid, over all and bake in a covered dish for 1 hour at 325\u00b0.
