Eggplant Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. stewed eggplants
    1 egg
    1/3 c. onion
    1/2 c. milk
    1 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Drain eggplant from juice.
    Mix eggplant, egg and onion until sticky.
    Stir flour and baking powder into milk; stir in eggplant mixture.
    Form into patties or drop with spoon into hot Crisco. Fry until golden brown, about 3 to 5 minutes.
