36 Lady Prune Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. pitted prunes
    2/3 c. hot water
    2 c. plain flour
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. vegetable oil
    1 c. chopped nuts
    3 eggs
    3/4 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. each: baking soda, salt, allspice and nutmeg
Preparation
    Beat prunes and water until prunes are chopped.
    Blend with remaining ingredients.
    (I use large spoon instead of mixer.) Bake in greased and floured 12-cup tube pan for 50 minutes at 350\u00b0.
