Pineapple Icebox Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. vanilla wafers, crushed
    1 c. crushed pineapple, drained
    1/2 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
    1 c. whipping cream, whipped stiff
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter.
    Add eggs.
    Beat well.
    Spread 1/2 of crumbs in pan or dish.
    Add sugar mixture.
    Add layer of whipped cream combined with nuts.
    Top with remaining wafer crumbs.
    Chill at least 12 hours.
