Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 halves peaches (fresh or canned)
    1/3 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. water
    1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/3 c. milk
Preparation
    Place peaches in bottom of 1 1/2-quart glass baking dish.
    Add sugar and water.
    Mix and sift dry ingredients.
    Cut in fat and add milk.
    Mix lightly and spread dough over peaches.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
