Ingredients

1/3 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
1/4 c. water
1/2 c. mild vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
2 c. cooked beets, diced
Preparation

Cook in 1-quart saucepan.
Mix sugar and flour together in a saucepan.
Add water and vinegar.
Cook on medium heat until thick, stirring occasionally.
Add salt, butter or margarine and diced beets.
Cook until beets are heated through.
Serves 4 to 5.
