Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 eggs
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 c. shortening
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Beat 3 eggs for 3 minutes; add 2 eggs and beat 3 minutes and add 2 more eggs, then beat 6 minutes.
    Cream sugar and shortening. Sift flour and baking powder.
    Add sugar and shortening to eggs. Then add sifted flour and baking powder; beat all for 5 minutes. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour, using greased and floured tube pan.
