Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. water
2 tsp. cornstarch
5 drops red food color
3 c. strawberries
4 tsp. confectioners sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 baked pie shell

Preparation

Combine sugar and water in a saucepan. Add cornstarch and cook over medium heat until thick. Add color and vanilla.
Let mixture cool. When cool, add berries. Pour into prebaked pie shell.
