Chex Quarterback Scramble - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 pkg. dry taco mix
4 c. Corn Chex
4 c. Wheat Chex
1 c. beer nuts
1/3 c. beef jerky, sliced
1/4 c. grated American cheese food
Preparation

Preheat oven to 250\u00b0.
Melt butter in large shallow roasting pan in oven.
Remove.
Stir in seasoning packet.
Add Chex mix and nuts.
Mix until all pieces are coated.
Bake 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.
Add beef jerky and cheese; stir to coat evenly. Bake an additional 15 minutes.
Spread on absorbent paper to cool.
