Grandmom'S 5-Egg Cake(Pound Cake) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 2/3 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    2 c. cake flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 312\u00b0.
    Cream the shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating 5 minutes at high speed between each egg (25 minutes in all).
    Add cake flour and vanilla.
    Mix until smooth.
    Bake in greased and floured Bundt pan for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until golden.
