Pumpkin Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 2/3 c. white sugar
4 eggs, beaten
2/3 c. Crisco shortening (liquid)
3 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves (ground)
2/3 c. water
2/3 c. chopped nuts
2/3 c. golden raisins
2 c. pumpkin
Preparation

Cream shortening, sugar, eggs, pumpkin and water and mix together.
Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and spices.
Add to pumpkin mixture.
Stir in nuts and raisins. Bake at 350\u00b0 for at least 1 hour.
DO NOT GREASE PANS.
Makes 2 loaves.
