Raw Apple Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 c. chopped apples
    1 1/2 Tbsp. milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped nuts
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Sift together the flour, salt and baking soda in small bowl. In large bowl cream together shortening, eggs and sugar.
    Mix in flour mixture the vanilla and milk.
    Add apples and nuts; mix well.
    Pour into greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
    Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon over top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    This recipe will also make 3 small loaves which will bake in 45 minutes.
