Cheese Potato Soup(Serves 6) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sliced onions
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    3 c. thin sliced potatoes
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. hot water
    4 chicken bouillon cubes
    3 c. milk
    1 c. half and half
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    2 Tbsp. finely chopped chives, parsley, green onion tops
Preparation
    Melt butter.
    Saute onions until tender.
    Place water in large kettle.
    Dissolve bouillon.
    Add salt, potatoes and onions.
    Cook until potatoes are tender, 40 minutes or 5 minutes in pressure cooker.
    Blend in processor with 2 cups of milk.
