Strawberry Glaze Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 qt. strawberries
    1/2 c. water
    1 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 baked pie crust
    Cool Whip topping
Preparation
    Crush strawberries to make 1 cup.
    Combine crushed berries, water, cornstarch and sugar.
    Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, then turn to low heat.
    Cook 2 to 3 minutes until mixture becomes clear in color.
    Line pie crust with the remaining whole berries and pour glaze over strawberries.
    Refrigerate until pie is set.
    Prior to serving, garnish with strawberries and Cool Whip.
