Good Old Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    2/3 c. Pet evaporated milk (1 small can)
    1/3 c. dry bread crumbs
    1/4 c. ketchup or chili sauce
    1 tsp. salt
    1 to 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    3 potatoes, sliced
    3 onions, sliced
    3 carrots, sliced
Preparation
    With wet hands, mix all the ingredients and shape into a loaf. Place in the center of a 9 x 13-inch dish. Peel and slice 1/4-inch thick 3 medium potatoes and onions and peel quarter lengthwise or slice the carrots. Put vegetables around meat. Cover tightly with foil.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 1 hour or until vegetables are tender.
    Uncover and bake 10 minutes more to brown meat.
