Prune Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. salt
1 c. cooking oil
3 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. pecans
1 c. prunes (large size baby food)
1 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. corn syrup
1/2 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. butter
1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Bring to a boil. Pour over hot cake and let soak in.
