Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. soda
3/4 tsp. salt
1 1/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. milk
2 eggs, unbeaten
1/4 c. milk

Preparation

Add ingredients as listed.
Mix for 1 minute.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes in either 2 round 9-inch pans or 1 (9 x 13-inch) pan.
