Angel Gingerbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. molasses
2 beaten eggs
1/2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 c. melted shortening
1 c. hot water
Preparation

Combine molasses, egg and sugar.
Sift flour, soda, salt and spices.
When ready to bake, add dry ingredients to molasses, egg and sugar.
Add melted shortening.
Add hot water last.
Bake at 350\u00b0 in a greased and floured 9 x 9-inch pan for 30 to 35 minutes.
