Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 eggs
3 c. sugar
3 c. sifted cake flour
1 c. milk
3 sticks butter, softened
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. almond flavoring
Preparation

Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
Cream butter and sugar together.
Add eggs, 1 or 2 at a time, beating after each addition.
Sift flour then measure and mix with baking powder.
Add flour and milk alternately to sugar mixture, ending with milk.
Add flavorings and mix well.
Pour batter into a greased and floured tube pan.
Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
