Mom'S Minute Rice Meatballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Minute rice
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    2 1/2 c. tomato juice
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 tsp. grated onion
    1/8 tsp. marjoram
    1/2 tsp. sugar
Preparation
    Combine rice with beef, egg, onion, salt, marjoram, pepper and 1/2 cup tomato juice.
    Mix lightly.
    Shape mixture into 18 balls and place in skillet.
    Add 1/2 teaspoon of sugar to remaining 2 cups of tomato juice.
    Pour juice over meatballs in skillet. Bring mixture to a boil.
    Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 15 minutes, basting occasionally.
    Makes 6 servings of 3 meatballs each.
