Peanut Butter Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. soft shortening (half butter/margarine)
    1 c. peanut butter
    1 c. white sugar
    1 c. brown sugar
    2 eggs
    2 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Stir in the remaining ingredients until acquire a dough consistency. Chill dough. Roll dough into balls the size of a large walnut. Place 3-inches apart on lightly greased baking sheet. Flatten with fork dipped in flour, crisscrossed. Bake until set, but not hard, at 350\u00b0. When done, remove from baking sheet and cool.
