Easy Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. beef, cubed
    3 potatoes, diced
    3 large carrots, sliced
    1 qt. or pt. greens (optional)
    1 can corn (optional)
    1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. salt
    1 onion, sliced
    1 can tomato or mushroom soup
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    Layer in casserole dish in roaster.
    Cover and place in a 250\u00b0 oven.
    Forget it for 5 hours; do not stir until ready to serve. Do not disturb while baking.
