Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar
1 c. margarine
1 c. white sugar
1 c. vegetable oil
1 c. Rice Krispies
1 c. oatmeal
1 c. coconut
1 c. nuts, chopped
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
3 1/2 c. flour
Extra sugar (red or white) to sprinkle on cookies
Preparation

Mix all ingredients together.
Roll into walnut size balls and flatten on a greased cookie sheet.
Sprinkle each cookie with 1 tsp. red or white sugar. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 - 10 minutes.
Makes 6 dozen.
