Tomatoless Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hamburger meat
    1 can hot chili powder
    2 cans kidney beans
    2 cans Mexican style chili beans
    1 large or 3 small onions
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1/2 green pepper, minced
    4 cans water
Preparation
    Chop garlic and onions.
    Saute in small amount of butter.
    Add 1 tablespoon chili powder and stir to mix.
    If needed, add 1 more tablespoon chili powder.
    Brown hamburger and add 1 tablespoon chili powder and a dash of salt.
    Add 1/4 cup flour to hamburger and stir in.
    Add beans, water, pepper and more chili powder to taste.
    Turn flame down low and cook 4 or 5 hours.
    Serve with crackers or buttered bread.
