Pecan Sandies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter or margarine, softened
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Mix in order given.
    Roll into small balls, not more than 1-inch wide.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 10 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Do not allow to brown.
    Roll in confectioners sugar while still warm.
