Red Beans And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. uncooked long grain rice
    2 1/2 c. water
    2 (15 oz.) cans dark red kidney beans, undrained
    1 (7 oz.) link reduced fat smoked sausage (1 g fat per oz.), sliced
    1 bunch green onions, chopped
    1 1/2 garlic powder
Preparation
    Place all ingredients in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 25 minutes. Yields 8 servings.
    Has 250 calories, 2 g fat.
