Aunt Alice'S Stromboli - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 loaf French bread
    1 small can tomato sauce
    1 (1 lb.) pkg. spicy sausage
    Mozzarella cheese
    1 small onion
    1 green pepper
    1 pkg. pepperoni
Preparation
    Cut bread in half lengthwise. Spread tomato sauce on both sides of the bread. Fry sausage and drain grease, then put on bread. Cut up pieces of onion and green pepper and scatter over sausage. Scatter pepperoni over everything and then cover with Mozzarella cheese. Cover the bread with other piece of bread. Wrap loosely with foil. Bake at 350\u00b0 until cheese melts. If top of bread gets hard, sprinkle a little water on top of bread and put back in oven for a few minutes. Serves 4 to 6.
