Deer Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 or 3 lb. deer meat
    2 large onions
    3 Tbsp. flour
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    3 Tbsp. catsup
    1 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Brown meat; cut into pieces in bacon fat.
    Add 2 large onions, sliced.
    Continue browning.
    When nicely browned, stir in 3 tablespoons flour.
    Place in baking dish and add vinegar, catsup, sugar and salt and pepper to taste.
    Cover meat with water and bake at 375\u00b0 for 2 to 3 hours or until tender, adding water as needed to keep meat covered.
    When done, thicken gravy and serve.
