Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. shortening
    2/3 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    3 ripe bananas, mashed
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Sift flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
    Cream shortening and sugar in a mixer bowl until light and fluffy.
    Beat in eggs. Add bananas, vanilla and pecans.
    Add dry ingredients; mix well. Spoon into greased 4 x 8-inch loaf pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes or until bread tests done.
