Paradise Peach Surprise - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1/2 c. melted butter
    1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
    1 3/4 c. powdered sugar
    8 oz. Cool Whip
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. peach Jell-O
    1 c. boiling water
    3/4 c. cold water
    4 peaches, peeled and sliced
Preparation
    Combine flour, sugar and pecans.
    Add margarine; mix well. Press this mixture in bottom of 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Bake 25 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Cool.
    Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
    Fold in the Cool Whip.
    Spread over the cooled crust.
    Dissolve gelatin in boiling water; add cold water. Chill to consistency of unbeaten egg whites.
    Put peach slices over cheese mixture.
    Spoon chilled gelatin over peaches.
    Cover and chill until firm.
    This may need adjusting; for some ovens, 25 minutes is too long.
