Black-Eyed Peas - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 or 3 ham hocks
1 lb. black-eyed peas
1 large onion
1 bell pepper
1 c. celery
red pepper (hot)
black pepper
Preparation
-
Rinse and sort peas in a large pot.
Cover with water and soak for 4 hours.
Cook ham hocks for 2 hours.
Drain peas; add ham hock, onion, bell pepper, celery, red pepper and black pepper to peas.
Add water to cover.
Cook until peas are tender.
