Hawaiian Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. crushed pineapple with juice
1 c. sugar
dash of salt
1 pkg. unflavored gelatin
1/4 c. boiling water
1 pkg. whipped topping
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
Mandarin oranges (optional)
Preparation

Combine pineapple, sugar and salt; cook for 10 minutes.
Let cool.
Combine pineapple mixture and cream cheese; mix with whipped topping.
Mix everything together and chill.
Top with Mandarin oranges.
